PREVIOUS INSURANCE CLAIMS EXPERIENCE IS A MUST

Qualifications
• University Degree, College Diploma or CIP Designation is required
• 1-3 years of AB claims experience with detailed knowledge of Bill 198 Regulation
• Highly organized with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to handle pressure and work independently

Duties
• Investigate, evaluate and negotiate settlement of minor to moderate accident benefit claims in accordance with Bill 198 Regulation and company standards
• Handle any existing and new claims
• Determine priority issues, collateral benefits and other available insurance
• Organize field investigations with Field Claims Representatives or Independent Adjusters to complete Initial Contact Questionnaires, liability and priority investigations
• Interpret medical reports and entitlement to treatment, rehabilitation, weekly disability benefits, attendant care and other benefits
• Arranging, overseeing and directing of experts required in the adjustment of accident benefit files
• Evaluation of exposures for proper reserve assessments
