Description

We are currently recruiting a Bilingual Junior Software Developer with the skills to work in both Japanese and English versions of the company’s suite of products.

Qualifications

• Must be fully fluent in both Japanese and English (reading/writing/spoken)
• University Degree/College Diploma in Computer Science or Computer Engineering.
• Software development experience with Microsoft Windows using Visual Studio, C# and .NET programming.
• Good knowledge of SQL Server and SQL Express.
• Knowledge of developing for Windows OS (XP, Vista and Windows 7).
• Basic knowledge of web services and developing web sites.
• Familiarity with Share Point and TFS is an advantage.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in both English and Japanese.
• Team player.
• Dedicated and Self-motivated.
• Strong problem solving skills.
• Aptitude to learn and apply knowledge quickly.

Duties

• Translate programming code from English to Japanese
• Build and maintain the Japanese version of company products, including both PC desktop and Web site systems.
• Provide technical support to the Customer Technical Support Team.
• Write, test and document software code.
• Work closely with the development team on product specifications and documentation.
