Description
Our client in the insurance industry has an immediate opening for an account administrator. The right candidate will provide administrative support to the account managers or executives.
Qualifications
• Experience or trained in formal general business practices
• 2 years of experience in general insurance
• 1 year experience in commercial business
• R.I.B.O license – a definite asset
Duties
• Preparing correspondence to insurance companies
• Preparing certificates of insurance, binders, and liability certificates
• Performing uploads and downloads from Insurer web-sites or portals
• Setting up cancellations, forwarding documents to insuring company, and confirmations to clients
• Setting up policy change requests to the insurance company, confirmation letters to clients & correspondence to policyholders, mortgages, lien holders & lessors
• Invoicing and preparing letters to clients
• Setting up client screens for cancellation and preparing any related billings
• Forwarding the cancellation survey to clients, when applicable
• Sorting the daily mail
