Description

Our client has an immediate need for an HR Director who will responsible for providing counsel to the national region manager and supervise the HR staff. The right candidate will also be responsible for lining HR initiatives with corporate goals/ objectives.

Qualifications

• Minimum 10 – 15 years of experience in a senior role
• Experience within a unionized environment
• Experience using an HRIS system
• CHRP designation – definite asset

Duties

• Develop strategic HR plans to support company initiatives
• Maintain and review the corporate workforce plan and initiate appropriate action in relation to the organization's use and development of employees.
• Manage and coordinate activities including HRIS, labor relations, administration, health and safety, employee benefits, and activities relating to Canadian, employment equity.
• Attract, retain, support and coach employees so as to maximize their potential
