C++ Software Engineer

Our client is a Canadian based leading global player in the communication market.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a VOIP Software Engineer in our client’s Vaughn location. The successful candidate will participate on project teams of engineers involved in the specification, design and development of VOIP products. This role requires an energetic and self motivated individual who is able to learn quickly and apply this knowledge to solve complex problems.

Requirements:
• University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or Applied Science.
• 2-3 years of Telephony/VoIP product development experience.
• Solid understanding of VOIP network architectures (SIP, H.323, MGCP, RTP/RTCP).
• 2-3 years embedded development experience.
• Strong C++ and Object Oriented development experience.
• Linux based development experience.
• Strong knowledge of data communication network protocols (TCP, IP, DNS, DHCP, HTTP).
• Web programming skills (HTML, JavaScript, php)
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Excellent written and oral communications skills.
