Description

Our client has an immediate need for an account with experience in commercial and residential properties. The right individual will support several business and subsidiaries at this role.

Qualifications

• University degree/diploma in accounting
• 5+ years experience in accounting
• Experience in commercial and residential properties – Mandatory
• Excellent analytical, problem solving and communication skills

Duties

• Prepare monthly financial statements for review
• General Ledger maintenance and reconciliation on a monthly basis
• Prepare audit and tax schedules as assigned
• Coordinate budget to ensure deadlines are met
• Assist in preparation of preliminary expense budget for review by property manager
• Review Accounts Payable reports prior to closing module to the GL
• Prepare yearly statistics Canada ownership filing
