Job Overview

Position Scope:

  • Assist in the purchasing of parts and materials for the Service Department & Installation Department
  • Assist in issuing, tracking and reconciling of Purchase Order for all parts and materials purchases
  • Assist in the procedure of parts pick up and truck restock
  • Support in shop inventory maintenance, including the elimination of obsolete or non-selling parts
  • Ensure accurate and efficient shipping & receiving
  • Maintain tracker of all company tools, equipment and fleet
  • Manager the signing in and out of Company tools
  • Assist in preparing and sending service department job quotes and Installation department job quotes in conjunction with P&I Manager by Service Manager and Installation Manager
  • Assist in tracking and analyzes all expenses on installation jobs
  • Assist in Orientation of new technicians on the procedures relating to parts, inventory and tools
  • Coordinates a prompt, efficient and timely flow of paperwork/documentation
  • Ensure health and safety practices are followed with the shop/warehouse and identifies and reports unsafe, unhealthy or hazardous working conditions



Skills Required

Position Requirements:
The minimum pre-requisites for this position is that the candidate is conversant in Parts & Inventory
and Administrative coordinator tasks, good attention to detail, displays a willingness to learn, innovative, think outside the box, pro-actively develops self-knowledge, ability to multi-task and prioritize and has a focus on Customer Satisfaction. Proficient in Microsoft Office and ability to lift up to 50lbs when required. High school Diploma or combination of education and experience preferred. Previous exposure in Refrigeration & HVAC an asset.
